LDAP: couldn't connect to LDAP server

Factory Reset Polycom Soundpoint IP

The following steps will walk you through factory resetting a Polycom Soundpoint IP Phone. This requires that you know the administrator password.

Instructions

Following these steps will wipe all data from your phone.

Part 1 - All UC Versions

  1. Select MenuSettingsAdvanced → Enter the administrator password
  2. Admin SettingsReset to Defaults

Part 2a - UC 3.x

  1. Reset Local ConfigurationYes
  2. The phone will reboot

Part 2b - UC 4.x

  1. Reset Local ConfigurationYes
  2. Reset Web ConfigurationYes
  3. Reset To FactoryYes
  4. The phone will reboot
